Calamus Outfitter Ladies Ride

I hope everyone is enjoying summer! We have had some beautiful weather =)
Vicki Krecek has once again put together a fabulous Ladies Trail Ride! She suggested Calamus Outfitters in Burwell for this years adventure. April Goettle and Libby Christi put together a menu of tasty meals. We ate like Queens all weekend.
Calamus Outfitters is located on Switzer Ranch which is 12,000 acres of rolling Sandhills. We rode to our hearts content. The weather was absolutely perfect. No wind (well barely), no humidity, no bugs and not too hot, not too cold (said Goldilocks).
The camaraderie was so much fun! The riding was really just about perfect. The horses were well behaved and if there were a few issues, we all waited while the horse and rider pulled it together. We didn’t have any ground testers!
It was such a huge success (I think it even made money $) that Vicki reserved the same weekend for next year June 28-July 1. Mark your calendars!
